Megan Irwin, one of Australia’s leading models, was fabulous on shoot for the recent lookbook campaign I shot for Beginning Boutique. She’s jetting off to New York pretty soon, so happy we had the pleasure of working with this beauty.
With a feminine aura this lookbook featured, those ever so popular, pastels and other soft shades. Our unique location complimented each look featuring dated wallpaper patterned backdrops.
Photography wise, If you know me then you know I love to experiment, I shot through fabrics and obstructed the frame. This time round my secret ingredient was a white dome mesh that covers food (no laughing haha). Shooting through the mesh and using the curved frame of the dome, the mesh and curve created a natural soft gradient on the image, which can be seen in the final image below, saves faking it in Photoshop.
The lookbook is now live, with all the garments available to SHOP, see it here – Sweet Nothing
Thank you’s to:
Annie Shandon Inn for their hospitality and allowing us to shoot at their amazing chic-ca-lious B&B in Brisbane.
A pleasure to work with such a beauty (Megan Irwin) and as always the fabulous team at BB, Kelsey Heinrichs,Chloe Clark, Emily Tamsen and the one and only Ashlea Penfold.
